Tree Pruning
Pruning
Proper pruning can improve the safety,
health and appearance of a tree. Common reasons for pruning include
the removal of dead, dying, diseased, and hazardous branches. With a
few exceptions, most pruning operations can be performed throughout the year
with minimal adverse effect on the health of a tree. Heavy pruning
immediately following a spring flush of growth should be avoided.
Ever Green is skilled in the proper timing, technique and placement of pruning cuts to ensure the safety and
longevity of your trees life.
TIP: Topping trees should be
avoided if at all possible. Topping a tree means removing large and
excessive portions from it’s structure and can interfere with a trees growth
and development.
